An ancient palace in the heart of Siena, brought back to its origin after major structural
The intervention of "ex Cinema Moderno" aims to contaminate a highly historicized building and transform it in a new structure able to become a model of intervention in the historic centers, reinterpreting the guidelines of contemporary architecture.
The new design was made with modern construction techniques that have allowed the elimination of anchor points and the creation of open spaces, without forget the security offered by steel and an anti-seismic realisation.

The structure is eco-friendly and wheelchairs accessible thanks to lack of architectural barriers and the presence of a wide lift. Much prominence was given to the design, perfectly integrated in the ancient structure.
